Grade 9 - 12
The reputation that we have built over the past 38 years shows that high school graduates from PCA respond well to the rigours of university, achieve marks in university equal to those earned in high school, and exhibit a high level of character and maturity.
In 2008, 89% of our graduates were Ontario Scholars and 100% were accepted at the post-secondary institution of their choice. On the standardized tests taken by Grades 3, 5, 7 and 9, over 90% of our students were above the Canadian norm in all tests.
PCA is registered with the Ontario Ministry of Education.
Our high school curriculum prepares young people to further their education and to become contributing members of society whose lives and work glorify God.
Special notice: PCA High School is beginning an Advanced Placement (AP) Program September 2011-2012. The Advanced Placement courses provide students with the opportunity to try university-level work in high school, and to gain valuable skills and study habits for post-secondary education. If students earn a "qualifying" grade on the AP Exam, usually a score of 4 or 5 out of 5,many colleges and universities worldwide will give students credit and/or advanced placement for their achievement. In the US, many colleges will let students start college as a sophomore, provided the students meet their AP requirements. Registration for AP Exams occurs in early March and the exams are written the first two weeks of May.
